Hen Nation Eggs

Hen Nation is Farmaround’s own brand selling organic eggs from hens which will live out their lives. Our hens have happy, stress-free lives - roaming, foraging, scratching and sunbathing in their Sussex meadows. They are fed a wholesome supplementary diet containing organic wheat, organic sunflower, organic soya, alfalfa and minerals as well as being able to graze on the grass and root about for worms and other grubs.
 
While nearly all egg-laying hens are killed at 72 weeks old, the industry standard even for organic free-range, Hen Nation hens have their whole lives to look forward to. After their short period of ‘commercial’ laying, they are all adopted into new homes to enjoy their retirement as part of a family. It is Hen Nation’s guarantee, that all our hens will get to live out their natural lives.

Hen Nation is a recipient of Compassion in World Farming’s prestigious Good Egg Award.

Unfortunately Hen Nation does not address the fate of male chicks but if you do eat eggs, these are by far the most ethical available anywhere.
